Must Have Album: Emeli Sandé – Our Version of Events

Last night, I went to see Emeli Sandé perform at the Bowery Ballroom. She was AMAZING! Before last night, I had only really heard a few of her songs like “Heaven“, “Next to Me”, and “Never Be Your Woman”. By the second song of the set, I became a fan.

Emeli has such a powerful voice. Some of my favorite songs from the set and on the album are ”Wonder”, “Clown”, and “Suitcase”. She wrote “Mountains” for her parents and ”Breaking the Law” for her sister.

The album debuted last night at midnight, so I suggest everyone go out and buy it. She’s the next IT girl.
